Getting Started
1
Click + Add Credit Union (left sidebar or Administration), find it on NCUA, and pull its 5300 reports automatically — up to 5 years of history in one click. See Loading Call Report Data below.
2
Click Business Insights — choose a topic chip or click Generate Full Analysis. With PDFs uploaded, Full Analysis extracts the financials and populates the dashboard charts, KPIs, and scores.
3
Use Administration to customize your CU name, logo, dashboard appearance, and board report.
4
Switch between institutions any time using the credit union selector in the sidebar.
5
Click any KPI or score card — or the What to Watch panel — to see exactly how that number was calculated: the formula, the weighting, and the underlying 5300 inputs.
Executive Dashboard (opens first)
What it isThe dashboard now opens on the Executive Summary — a decision-first view. A dark hero band gives a one-line verdict plus three columns: What changed, Why it matters, and the Recommended move, with a Review action plan button into the tracker.
Four score cardsStrategic Health · Opportunity · Risk · Readiness, each with a ring, a status word, the change vs the prior quarter, and a one-line read. Click a card to see how the score is built.
Priorities & trajectoryA ranked Priorities list (with Impact/Urgency) sits beside a Performance trajectory chart of your ROA, efficiency, and net-worth ratio over the last five quarters. Peer-median reference lines appear only when your peer group resolves — never invented.
Depth on demandBelow the hero, AI summary & key trends, Opportunities, risks & alerts, and All scores are collapsed by default — one click opens each. The other Essentials sections (Balance Sheet, Lending, Deposits & Liquidity, Risk & Capital, Membership) use the same clean KPI-card style.
The colorsGreen on track · Yellow watch · Red needs attention · Blue opportunity · grey means a figure is missing (never shown as healthy by default). Every color comes from fixed thresholds (NCUA PCA bands for capital; the live peer distribution for ROAA).
AI Chat Assistant
What it doesThe chat bubble answers questions about this credit union's financial data — its call-report figures, ratios, trends, and the numbers behind any score. Ask things like "how does our delinquency look?" or "what drove the efficiency change?"
Data only, by designThe assistant is scoped to the data, not the application. It will politely decline questions about app features, navigation, or how-to, and it never invents a number — if a figure isn't in the loaded data it says so.
Usage is loggedOwners can review every question asked, by user and credit union, in Administration → Activity Monitor → Chat Assistant Usage.
Loan Pricing Intelligence & CU Directory
Loan Pricing IntelligenceA three-level pricing workstation: a decision panel (minimum profitable rate vs your proposed rate, with a meets/misses-policy verdict), a workstation (product, amount, term → monthly payment and margin over floor), and collapsed supporting detail (rate build-up, per-product floors, NCUA peer context, trend, methodology). Market rates only appear when you enter a sourced Market Observation.
CU DirectorySearch and explore the full NCUA universe (~4,250 credit unions). Headline totals — credit unions, assets, members, loans, states — update live as you filter by state, asset tier, charter type, or low-income status.
Loading Call Report Data
1
Add the credit union. Click + Add Credit Union, then enter its name and charter number (or search by name to find the charter).
2
Open Refresh from NCUA in Administration → Data & Reports with that credit union selected.
3
Choose how much history to pull. The default is Last 5 years (20 quarters); you can also pick 3 years, or the last 8, 5, or 4 quarters.
4
Click Pull from NCUA. Each quarter is downloaded and read one at a time — the progress list shows every quarter as it loads.
5
When it finishes, the dashboard, KPIs, and scores update automatically. Owner/admin accounts also save the data to the shared database.
How long it takesA 5-year pull reads 20 reports individually, so it takes a few minutes. Leave the tab open until the progress bar completes.
Fewer availableIf NCUA has fewer cycles on file than you asked for, whatever exists is loaded — no action needed.
Each quarter afterRe-run Refresh from NCUA after each new filing to stay current. Re-pulling updates existing quarters in place — it never duplicates them.
Manual uploadPrefer to supply files yourself? Upload 5300 PDFs in Data & Reports and run the analysis — the app reads them the same way.
Peer Comparison and Acquisition screening pull only the single latest quarter for speed. To build full multi-year history on a target, add it as a credit union and run a 5-year pull.

Regulatory Assessment

Run AssessmentGenerates an examination-readiness review covering capital, CECL, liquidity/IRR, asset quality, and likely examiner focus areas.
KPI Gauge Reference
Net Worth RatioMust be ≥7% to be Well Capitalized (NCUA)
Loan-to-ShareLoans ÷ deposits; higher = more efficient lending
Liquidity Ratio(Cash + investments) ÷ assets
Annualized ROAQuarterly net income × 4 ÷ assets; target ≥0.70%
Delinquency Rate60+ day delinquent ÷ total loans; lower is better
What to Watch
What it isA size-aware triage panel on the dashboard. It tracks the metrics that matter most for a credit union of your asset size and surfaces the few drifting out of a healthy range — the items worth a board conversation this quarter.
How items are flaggedEach metric is compared to a target tuned to your peer-group size band. Results fall into On track (a Strength), Watch (drifting), or Attention (past the threshold). Flagged items are ranked by severity × importance.
Metrics trackedEfficiency ratio, net worth ratio, annualized ROA, 60+ delinquency, membership growth, and net interest margin — each weighted for what drives results at your size.
Click to explainClick the What to Watch card (or the ⓘ How this works pill) to open a full breakdown of the engine, the three states, and the targets applied to your peer group.
First-pass targetsTargets are reasoned size-band estimates today. Once NCUA bulk Call Report data is ingested they become true peer percentiles and the flags sharpen.
Score & KPI Explainers
Click to explainEvery KPI card and every score card (Strategic Health, scorecard, CAMELS) is clickable — and so is the What to Watch card. Clicking opens a breakdown showing the formula, the weighting, and the exact 5300 inputs used.
Computed, not readRates (net worth, delinquency, ACL, loan-to-share) are calculated mathematically from the underlying figures, not copied from pre-printed ratio fields.
Acquisition Possibilities
Candidate scanScores and ranks potential merger candidates on a 6-factor model: capital, growth, membership, earnings, leadership, and market fit.
FiltersNarrow candidates by asset range, state, and minimum score, then export the ranked list to CSV.
TrackSend any candidate to the Action Tracker for follow-up.
Outreach & Sales Engine Owner only
Pick a prospectOpen Outreach and search any credit union in the NCUA universe. Selecting one builds a lead profile — Opportunity, Product Fit, Pain Signal, and Reachability gauges — plus talking points and pain points.
AI Sales Brief (internal)A call-prep brief — why to call, three reasons, questions to ask, likely concerns, buying probability. This is internal strategy and is never emailed.
Draft the prospect emailClick Draft prospect email for a consultative, peer-based note that leads with where the CU stands vs its NCUA peer group. It's an editable subject + body — numbers are computed, never invented. Edit freely before sending.
Choose what's includedCustomize what the prospect sees toggles individual metrics and sections on the fallback snapshot. Use Preview email to see exactly what the prospect receives (the internal brief is never shown).
Send optionsCopy briefing (paste into Outlook) · Open in email app (mailto) · Send test to my inbox (verifies the Resend key/domain by sending to you).
CEO ContactsThe CEO Contacts button opens the directory — CEO name & phone come from NCUA; email is maintained manually and reused for outbound.
Follow-UpsEvery logged send lands in the Follow-Ups queue with a follow-up date. Preview re-opens the exact email that went out and the internal AI brief captured at send time. Mark Done, snooze +7d, or clear failed sends.
